My geo-tagged photos

So this is our map of our geo-tagged photos. This is based off the geotagged photos we've uploaded to our flickr site.

We've uploaded most of our photos there and basically use it as our primary location to store photos. Gives us the ability to load our photos somewhere in case (shhhh) our drive(s) happen to fail.

Why not use the geo-maps provided by flickr?

The native mapping from flickr is nice, but lacks the ability to map all your geotagged photos in one map. It involves paging through many maps if you have a lot of geotagged photos. This makes it difficult to see the full picture of all the photos you have stored.

How did I do this cool map?

Well, actually I had little to do with it. There is a great service out there provided by trippermap. I encourage you to check it out. It makes it simple to add to your site, blog, mySpace, etc..

How to easily goetag your photos:

I found a great little gadget made by Sony here. It's great for logging photo's or trips. It basically saves They indicate that it's made for specific Sony cameras. However, I've used it successfully with other cameras and it works great. Unfortunately, it's longer on the market but I'm sure there are comparable gadgets out there..
