Becoming older is something we all do. Adults worry about being “old.” I don’t understand this. Being “old” is not a bad thing. Many great things come wiht it. Wisdom and respect are just two. Being “old” may really mean being one thousand years old. We all grow older every mila-second. What’s the difference when your an adult? Being “old” is not a bad thing. I have looked up and found that the definition of old is: “having lived or existed for a long time”. This could really apply to anyone depending on what a long time is. Puls, God intended us to age every day. What’s so bad about that?

This is more for young girls, but others may read it, too. I liked and still like my littlest pet shop figures. My friends and I enjoy playing with them, but recently they’ve changed. I had always thought the figures were cute. Well, the company decided to make them “cuter.” Some may like their new look and style, but the flowers in the eyes just don’t go for me. I’m sort of a tom-boy, girly mix. I like animals, yet I’m not really into clothes, flowery things, pink, make-up, ect. I wish they still sold the old figures, too. My brother doesn’t care though. Yes, my five-year-old brother likes them, too. He learned it from me.

Hello, gamers and others who are board and are just reading this for fun. I have found that some DS games are better than others(DUH!) I have found through expereince that most of the Petz games are not very good. Catz was not the greatest. I donated mine to Gamestop. A better game is Purr PalsNintendogs is a great game. A recent game I’ve tried is Drawn to Life. It’s an awesome game that allows you to get out your creativity and isn’t too hard. I bought the Tigerz game. It’s not very good either. I wouldn’t try it if I were you. Yet, these games may be your “thing.” Not everyone is the same. Anyways, Pokemon: Dimond is also a good game. Remember to enjoy games, but also go outside to get some fresh air and exersize, too.

For my birthday I received two books from a friend. I really didn’t think I would like them, but they turned out to be the best books I’ve read! The series is called Percy Jackson & The Olympians. They are books about modern Greek mythology that include mysteries, humor, and suspention. The main character in Percy Jackson: son of Poisidon. I’m a Christian, but still enjoy the book along with the Greek mythology. I just don’t believe a word of it. It’s hard to put the book down. The series is by Rick Riodan. The first two books are The Lightning Theif and The Sea of Monsters, but there are more books in the series, too. These books are great for all ages. You could try them if you are a kid that is board in summer or an adult who just likes to read. Go ahead: pick up the book and start reading. Another great series you might try is the Warriors series. It has mysteries and follows wild, domestic cats through theirs problems. These books give you an idea of the hardships wild animals face and fantisizes another world where cats talk to one another. The first series follows Firepaw on his journey to become Friestar. You can go to www.warriorcats.com for more details. Erin Hunter, the group of three authors that write warriors, are also writing a new series called Seekers (also on the website above) about bears. Pick up a book and start reading.

Have you ever had an aweful problem in life? I think we all have problems come our way. Once I had a friend who seemed the world to me and yet he was tearing my world apart at the same time. He and I were friends. People made fun of us (I am a girl and he was a boy), but we stood together. (We were not girlfriend-boyfriend.) At times I wished he wouldn’t hang around me 24-7, but I didn’t reject him. Then, the nightmare happened. He started to ignore me, was rude to me, and got a girlfriend. It happened very suddenly. I was devestated. This person I had been so kind to had totally flipped on me. Then, out of the darkness, I found a brighter light. One that shined brighter than the one I had before. Thomas, one of my current best friends, befriended me. We shared some intrests and talked together. He is really nice too. I had prayed to God through my hard times and he had given me something better than before. God makes all things work out for our good. So truly, in the midst of death comes life…

If you’re a ‘nature’ person you know what I mean when I say outdoors is a great place to enjoy. My friends and I love to play by the creek. We were out one day when I had to go meet another friend, Danya. My plan was to leave Montana and Morgan by a giant tree that had big roots that hung over the creek. We loved to sit on the roots and talk. As I was walking back, I heard someone yell that they needed help. I rushed back to my friends only to find they were only kidding. I told them to stop and then went back to meet my other friend. They yelled again. I ran back. They were still kidding. I got mad, but left them peacefully. I was with Danya when they yelled for the third time. I didn’t feel like going back to be tricked again. Yet, God tugged at my heart. If they were really in trouble, they needed me. Well, they wern’t kidding. Morgan was dangeling over the creek by one of the roots. We tried to work her out of it, but she was fully wedged. Luckily, Danya came back to the woods. She is strong so she was able to pull Morgan free. I thank God because he told me to go back and check on my friends.
